Dedicated to Littles in the program who have big educational aspirations and a passion for football, the scholarship was created in memory of Konrad A. Reuland, a former NFL player who passed away in 2016. Reuland was a committed and generous mentor throughout his life and left a lasting impact on thousands of individuals. Meet JJ
JJ has played football since he was in second grade. He is incredibly grateful for his Big Brother Sean, who has provided unconditional support and encouragement both on and off the field over the past 10 years.
Recently, when faced with difficult financial and educational decisions regarding post-high school options, JJ leaned on Sean for guidance and motivation.
“College, financial aid and choosing a major was overwhelming. There was so much information being thrown at me, so instead of choosing a path I almost made no decision at all,” JJ says. “Sean showed me how great it was that I had many paths to choose from and encouraged me to take control of my decisions so I can get to the next step.”[/fwp-anim-text][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][fwp-anim-text extra_class=””]Now, JJ is enrolled in a junior college and will study kinesiology. He aims to transfer to his dream school—University of Nevada, Reno—to follow his dreams of becoming a successful physical therapist or athletic trainer.
