With the school year behind them, students in Big Brothers Big Sisters High School Bigs program celebrated the summer with a carnival-themed picnic at Tustin Sports Park.

Elementary school students (Littles) and their high school mentors (Bigs) battled in consecutive rounds of tug-of-war, got soaked during a water balloon toss, painted their faces with vibrant colors and designs, and earned tickets to redeem for awesome raffle prizes.

During the afternoon of nonstop activity, the Chick-fil-A cow even made an appearance, cheering on the Bigs and Littles, joining in on their games and bringing lunch for everyone.

The High School Bigs program runs during the academic year, but the picnic gives students the opportunity to play and bond together over summer vacation.
