Big Brothers Big Sisters 41st Annual Golf Tournament raised more than $335,000 in support of its life-changing mentoring programs. Participants enjoyed a day full of golf, food and fun at the Newport Beach Country Club for a good cause.

The day began with a brunch reception, where golfers snacked on warm breakfast burritos; mingled with friends and colleagues; and competed in a putting contest before heading out to play. Every participant received a swag bag which included a $130 Travis Mathew mobile boutique shopping credit, YETI gear and Titleist balls.

Opportunity drawing packages proved to be a popular hit amongst attendees. Prizes included Taylor Swift VIP tickets, Disney tickets, an autographed Shaun White snowboard, a harbor cruise package and a Phoenix getaway. Throughout the course, various activities, games and refreshments at various holes kept golfers entertained as they completed the round of golf. On the third hole, foursomes had the chance to compete against a pair of professionals in a long drive contest; there was a chance to win a brand-new BMW for sinking a hole-in-one on the eighth hole.

On-site food trucks drew rave reviews as well with an array of complimentary culinary offerings such as lobster paninis, barbecue macaroni and cheeseburger sliders on Hawaiian sweet rolls.

After they completed 18 holes, participants were treated to an evening cocktail reception on the second floor of the Newport Beach Country Club.
