Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County Receives $10K Grant from Bank of America

There is no doubt that Big Brothers Big Sisters shares in the profound vision of the Bank of America Charitable Foundation: to build pathways to success.

Every year, the foundation connects communities with much-needed resources by directing funding to nonprofits that demonstrate a commitment to enhance workplace development and education through mentoring, high school and college matriculation and graduation, skill development and more. This year—for the first time—Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County was the recipient of an incredible $10,000 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation.

The grant will support the agency’s impactful Destination Future initiative, which provides youth in the community-based program with resources to stay on track to high school graduation and beyond. With the help of the Bank of America, we will be able to continue and expand our offerings of free SAT prep classes, college campus tours, and resume-building and keys to success workshops, as well as provide career planning guidance so that youth can move forward on their paths to a brighter future.

Thank you Bank of America for changing futures for kids in our community!
