Nearly 400 High School Bigs and Littles enjoyed an afternoon of fun, food and festivities as part of Big Brothers Big Sisters Annual Summer Picnic at Tustin Sports Park.
The event brought matches together for the first time since the end of the school year. For a few hours, matches laughed, competed and bonded during activities such as soccer, zumba, tug-of-war and potato sack racing.
“My favorite part of the day was Zumba. It’s so much fun to get your body moving,” said 10-year-old Darryl, a student at Wilson Elementary. “Sometimes you just got to dance!”
