Earlier this year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County and the Inland Empire teamed up with Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout. Serving as our ambassador, Trout is bringing awareness to youth mentoring and helping to enhance our recruitment efforts. Join Trout and get involved with BBBS in one of these three ways!

Trout has had many mentors throughout his life who have helped him become the person he is today—and he hopes the same for local kids in need of a mentor. There are hundreds of kids on our wait list, and roughly 85 percent of them are young boys. Mentors spend a few hours twice a month with their Littles and it makes a big impact on their life!

It’s a fun way to give back: Pledge for every home run Trout hits this season or make a one-time donation to support our programs!
You can pledge as little or as much as you can; but keep in mind if you pledge at least $5 per home or a flat donation of $100 or more, you’ll be entered to win an autographed Mike Trout bat! Team BBBS Cheering for Mike Trout
At Big Brothers Big Sisters, support is a No. 1 priority—for each other, our Littles and Bigs, and our community. Our entire agency recently attended a Los Angeles Angels game to support Mike Trout! Sitting in the Trout Farm section of the stadium, decked out in BBBS and Angels gear including our new favorite Mike Trout fish hat, our staff cheered as loud as we could for Trout and the Angels! (We like to think we helped the team reach a victory that night.)
